The 4th Beijing-Zhangjiakou Sports, Culture and Tourism Belt Development Exchange Activity took place in Zhangjiakou city, Hebei province, on Saturday, with the aim of collectively promoting the sports, cultural and tourism sectors in Beijing and Zhangjiakou.

During the event, Yanqing and Mentougou districts in Beijing, alongside Zhangjiakou city, showcased and highlighted their distinctive resources in sports, culture and tourism through various artistic forms such as singing, dancing, and sketches.

At the site, the culture and tourism departments of Zhangjiakou city and its counties, along with enterprises, signed cooperation agreements with the cultural and tourism bureaus and companies of Beijing.

Moreover, industry associations from Zhangjiakou city, Yanqing district, Mentougou district, Ulanqab city in Inner Mongolia autonomous region and Datong city in Shanxi province signed a pact on tourist transportation, set to propel the tourism industry's growth in neighboring cities along the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Sports, Culture and Tourism Belt.

The construction of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Sports, Culture and Tourism Belt has driven the deep integration between the two cities over the past three years. Together, Beijing and Zhangjiakou have co-hosted more than 300 sports, cultural and tourism events. Additionally, they have introduced four tourist routes, including "Zhangjiakou city to Yanqing district", "Beijing to Zhangjiakou Huailai county", and "Capital airport to Chongli district", attracting a total of 14.6 million visitors from Beijing.
