Caoyang Xincun offers international students a taste of local life

Constructed more than 70 years ago, Caoyang Xincun in Shanghai's Putuo district is China's first residential compound for industrial workers and opened to foreign visitors in 1953 as the first area equipped with a foreign affairs office in the city.
