After Super Typhoon Yagi hit Hainan province on Friday afternoon and caused widespread damage, transportation in the province is gradually returning to normal on Sunday.

The Haikou Meilan International Airport is expected to resume operations at noon on Sunday, with all flights on that day operating in and out of just terminal one. The airport had ceased operations since 8 pm on Thursday. Sanya Phoenix International Airport and Qionghai Boao International Airport have gradually resumed operations starting at 10 am on Saturday.
