“泡沫”的翻譯種種

日常生活中，“泡沫”有很多意思，那么我們應(yīng)該怎樣正確翻譯它呢？ “泡沫”的第一個(gè)意思是“聚在一起的許多小泡”。英語可以翻譯為“bubble/foam”。
例如： “The child likes to blow bubbles into water through a straw.”（這個(gè)喜歡用麥稈吸管往水里吹泡泡。）
“The glass of beer has a good head of foam.”（這杯啤酒上有厚厚的一層泡沫。）
“The extinguisher is filled with chemical foam.”（這個(gè)滅火器里充滿了化學(xué)泡沫。）
“泡沫”的第二個(gè)意思是比喻某一事物表面上的繁榮，而實(shí)際上虛假不實(shí)的成分。英語翻譯為“bubble”，
例如： “As a stock market bubble is taking shape, the investors should take precautions against the risks.”（股市泡沫正在形成，投資者應(yīng)該防范風(fēng)險(xiǎn)。）
“In March of 2003, the Internet bubble suddenly burst. ”（2003年3月，互聯(lián)網(wǎng)泡沫爆裂。）
“經(jīng)濟(jì)泡沫”可以翻譯為“economic bubble”，而“泡沫經(jīng)濟(jì)”翻譯為“bubble/foamy economy”。
例如“ “A real estate bubble is a type of economic bubble that occurs periodically in local or global real estate markets.”（房地產(chǎn)泡沫是本地或全球房地產(chǎn)市場周期性發(fā)生的一種經(jīng)濟(jì)泡沫。） “Bubble economy usually starts with false prosperity and ends in a breakout of crises. ”（泡沫經(jīng)濟(jì)通常以虛假繁榮開始，以危機(jī)爆發(fā)告終。）
