Victoria Beckham tops worst-dressed list
|
A decade after singling out the Spice Girls as fashion atrocities, Mr. Blackwell put just one of them -- Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham -- at the top of his 48th annual worst-dressed list released Tuesday.
The acid-tongued critic who was designing dresses for the rich and famous when he originated the list in 1960, skewered entertainment's biggest stars in the latest compilation of fashion follies, including Fergie, Kelly Clarkson, Lindsay Lohan and Jessica Simpson.
Blackwell heaped venom on Beckham, his No. 1 choice on the list.
"Forget the fashion spice, wearing a skirt would suffice! In one skinny-mini monstrosity after another, pouty posh can really wreck-em," he said in a statement.
Blackwell listed the Spice Girls as No. 1 in his 1998 worst-dressed list, deriding the group as "the only spices on the planet that have no taste."
The top 10 roll-call of fashion dishonors also included:
No. 2. Amy Winehouse -- "Exploding beehives above, tacky polka-dots below, she's part 50's carhop horror."
No. 3. Mary Kate Olsen -- "She resembles a tattered toothpick-trapped in a hurricane."
No. 4. Fergie -- "Yes, when it comes to couture chaos, guess it's all in a name!"
The rest of the top 10 list included Kelly Clarkson, Eva Green, Avril Lavigne, Jessica Simpson, Lindsay Lohan and Alison Arngrim.
Missing from the list was Britney Spears, who has made it many times before.
"I felt that it was inappropriate at this time to make comment, when her personal life is in such upheaval. I hope 2008 is a better year for her," Blackwell said.
Blackwell also released a Fabulous Fashion Independents list that included Reese Witherspoon, Jemima Khan, Beyonce, Angelina Jolie, Helen Mirren, Nicole Kidman, Katie Holmes, Kate Middleton, Katherine Heigl and Cate Blanchett.

布萊克維爾第48屆年度 “時(shí)尚黑名單”于本周二出爐。在“辣妹”組合被評(píng)為該“最差穿著榜”冠軍的十年后，布萊克維爾將今年的冠軍頒給了“辣妹”成員之一“高貴辣妹”維多利亞?貝克漢姆。
時(shí)尚“毒舌”布萊克維爾從1960年開(kāi)始編撰該榜，當(dāng)時(shí)他專為社會(huì)名流設(shè)計(jì)時(shí)裝。今年，娛樂(lè)圈的一些大牌明星遭到了布萊克維爾的炮轟，其中包括菲吉、凱莉?克拉克森、林賽?洛翰和杰西卡?辛普森。
而對(duì)于今年的“冠軍”維多利亞?貝克漢姆，布萊爾維爾給出了惡毒的評(píng)價(jià)：
“曾經(jīng)那個(gè)時(shí)尚的辣妹不見(jiàn)了，那個(gè)辣妹隨便穿件短裙就夠時(shí)尚！現(xiàn)在愛(ài)翹嘴的‘高貴辣妹’穿著一件又一件緊身的奇裝異服，簡(jiǎn)直能把它們給撐爆了。”
1998年，“辣妹”組合被布萊爾維爾評(píng)為當(dāng)年的最差穿著榜冠軍，他評(píng)價(jià)該組合是“地球上唯一沒(méi)有味道（品味）的香料”。
十大最差穿著名人包括：
第二名 埃米?懷恩豪斯。點(diǎn)評(píng)：“頭上頂著炸開(kāi)的馬蜂窩，下面是俗不可耐的波卡圓點(diǎn)，活脫一個(gè)50多歲的飯店服務(wù)員。”
第三名 瑪麗?凱特?奧森。點(diǎn)評(píng)：“像個(gè)被困在颶風(fēng)中的衣衫襤褸的牙簽。”
第四名 菲吉。點(diǎn)評(píng)：“堪稱時(shí)尚災(zāi)難的代名詞。”
其他幾位上榜明星包括凱莉?克拉克森、伊娃?格林、艾薇兒、杰西卡?辛普森、林賽?洛翰和艾莉森?安格里姆。
曾多次上榜的布蘭妮今年則“幸免于難”。
布萊克維爾說(shuō)：“在這個(gè)時(shí)候?qū)λu(píng)頭論足不太合適，現(xiàn)在她的生活一團(tuán)亂。我希望她2008年能交好運(yùn)。”
布萊爾維爾還公布了一份“時(shí)尚佳人名單”，其中包括里斯?威瑟斯彭、杰尼瑪?卡恩、碧昂絲、安吉利娜?茱麗、海倫?米倫、妮可?基德曼、凱蒂?赫爾姆斯、凱特?米德?tīng)栴D、凱瑟琳?黑格爾和凱蒂?布蘭切特。
